I’m Raffaella Rose, a DJ born and raised in Brooklyn with a deep love for music that spans across decades and genres.
I’m drawn to music the way I’m drawn to fabric — by its texture, depth, and mood. My sets are layered with trip-hop, nu-wave, and jazzy electronic influences, touched by the psychedelic spirit of the ’70s and the raw soul of hip-hop. I’ve always resonated with the experimental side of sound — where rhythm, emotion, and style intertwine — while my New York roots keep me grounded in groove and flow. Studying in London expanded that curiosity, deepening my love for genre-bending sounds and sonic storytelling.
There’s a lot of emotion behind what I play — it’s not just music; it’s a feeling. I love blending dub, acid, and downtown energy into something intimate yet cinematic, feminine but powerful.
